Caries to be cured by kefir
New type of bacteria that prevent teeth caries formation was created by European scientists on the base of genetic engineering technology.
Group of experts, who conducted experiments during 6 years at Swedish scientific center, constructed genetically modified type of milk bacteria that can prevent formation of aggressive for teeth acids.
Protection mechanism is based on opportunity of modified bacteria to produce special antibodies. Numerous tests revealed that a bacterium is absolutely harmless for human organism. It is expected that in near future new bacteria will be added to milk products in order to prevent caries of all EU consumers.
