Earthquake measuring 4,3 points rocks Kamchatka
PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, November 9 - An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 points on the Richter scale rocked the Avachinsk Bay near the eastern coast of Kamchatka Peninsula, there have been no casualties or destruction, Russian Emergency Situations Ministry`s main department for the Kamchatka region told on Wednesday.
The earth tremor was registered by the Petropavlovsk seismological station at 19:31, Moscow time on Tuesday (04:31, local time on November 9). The earthquake epicentre was located some 70 kilometres from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Earth tremors measuring two-three points on the Richter scale were felt in the regional centre.
