Russians treat Lenin kindly and Stalin badly
Among activists of revolution epoch Russians sympathies to Vladimir Lenin, Helix Dzerzhinsky and Nikolai II the most.
These are the results of poll held by All-Russian center of public opinion investigation. Half of Russians (50%) like Lenin and 32% - dislike. 42% of respondents treat last Russian czar positively and 28% - negatively. Approximately the same situation is with relationship to Dzerzhinsky - 44% against 28%. In relation to Iosif Stalin negative emotions prevail over positive: 37% accept him as positive figure and 47% as negative.
It should be mentioned that positive relationship dominates among respondents after 60 years old and negative - before 60 years.
The question about burial of Lenin`s body raises often recently. According to poll, question about presence of Lenin`s body in Mausoleum raise contradictory feelings among Russians. 22% of questioned think that it will be better to bury Lenin. 31% of respondents regard Mausoleum not as object of worship but as ordinary tourist attraction. 40% of Russians thinks that this action is wrong and unnatural.
