Russian Sberbank to own banks in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
Moscow, November,17 - Sberbanks of Russian Federation plan to buy banks in Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
As the vice-president of Sberbank Alla Alekshina informed it is already known what banks will be purchased. She added that chiefs of banks can complete an agreement in the end of 2005.
According to Alekshina this step will be very profitable for Russian Sberbank. "It is not connected with our aggressive policy, but this program is elaborated to meet the wishes of our clients." stated the vice-president. At first Sberbank will have branches only in two countries: Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
