New plenipotentiary of Russian president in Far-Eastern Federal District takes up duties
Vladivostok, November,19 - New plenipotentiary of Russian president in the Far-Eastern Federal District Kamil Iskhahov will land in Khabarovsk on Saturday.
Ex-plenipotentiary Konstantin Pulikovsky and new representative of Putin will visit all regions of the district
Vladimir Putin appointed an ex-mayor of Kazan city in Tatarstan republic Khamil Iskhakov his representative in the Far-Eastern Federal District.
By president`s decree Pulikovsky was dismissed.
As the former administration chief of Kazan city Khamil Iskhakov informed it was unexpected suggestion to become Russian president`s representative in the Far Eastern Federal District.
In the interview given to Tatarstan journalists Iskhakov said: "New appointment on the one hand provokes excitement, because there is possibility to use my experience in the new area, to help the country, to support the president. But on another hand I feel sad because my whole life is connected with Kazan."
Iskhakov intends to develop collaboration between Tatarstan and Far-Eastern District; first of all it concerns such industries as: oil-production, oil-processing, aircraft-construction.
