1 woman died, 3 people injured as result of explosion in Moscow
One woman has died as a result of domestic gas explosion in Moscow apartment house, informed Moscow mayor Yurii Luzhkov, who arrived to place of occasion.
"Unfortunately, there are victims, 1 woman has died", - said the mayor.
This information was confirmed by Moscow prosecutor Anatoly Zuev. He informed that body of woman was taken out of obstructions on 4-th floor of the house.
Moscow mayor announced that rescuers try to save another woman. "She is alive and answers questions".
2 people - man and child - were hospitalized. By Luzhkov`s words, there is no danger for life.
Moscow prosecutor expressed the hope that there will be no other victims.
Prosecutor informed about 4 injured. "They are hospitalized to institute named after Sklifosovsky and to city hospitals N36 and N20", - said Zuev.
Investigators try to establish circumstances of the accident by questioning of hospitalized.
Tests of air were taken for following expertise.
Prosecutor confirmed that at present moment version of "domestic gas explosion during repair works" is examined. He specified that epicenter of explosion was located in apartment N16 on the 7-th floor.
