Russian ship drowned near South Kuriles
Near South Kuriles Russian fishing boat RSH 23-34 drowned on Sunday night.
Tragedy took place at 00:20 by local time (17:20 on Saturday by Moscow time) 20 kilometers from Kunashire. At rate of north-west wind being 12 meters per second and height of waves - about 2 meters the boat got flooded. The length of the boat was 18 meters, width - little more than 4 meters and height - 70 centimeters above sea level, he added.
The crew evacuated on motor boats, presented on drowned ship.
"But during boarding from drowning ship 3 people, including captain Andrey Zigankov, have died. Their dead bodies were taken by crew, 2 people are missing", - informed the source.
Only 1 motor boat had engine and it tugged the second one. Fishermen arrived to Golovnino village, on Kunashire island.
In village hospital another 2 fishermen died from getting cold, 2 more fishermen are in severe condition.
