Russian hockey team won ROSNO Cup
Russian team became the winner of ROSNO Cup - the third stage of European hockey tournament.
In second tour team of Vladimir Krikunov won team of Finland with score 2:0 and became the leader of the stage with 6 points. Both goals were scored by captain of Russian team Maxim Sushinsky. In the middle of first period he successfully finished combination of partners Evgeny Malkin and Alexander Haritonov. At the last minute of game, when Finns substituted goalkeeper for 6-th player, Sushinsky directed the puck to empty gates.
In another game of the day national team of Sweden defeated Czech team in overtime with score 1:0. Carlson threw the decisive puck at third minute of additional time. National teams of Finland, Sweden and Czechia have 2 points each and cannot compete with Russian (6 points). In last tour, which will take place on December 18, Finland will play with Sweden and Russia - with Czechia.
"We had a difficult game. We understood that we must win in Moscow. We didn`t have right to disappoint our fans, which supported us in game against Sweden and today - in match against Finland. Moreover, winning the game we became leaders in Eurotour and second time in row winners of "ROSNO Cup", - said the head trainer of Russian team Vladimir Krikunov in interview after the game.
