North Korea lets Russian ship leave territorial waters
North Korean authority has given permission to the Russian ship "Terney" to leave the territorial waters of North Korea, informed Russian embassy in Pyongyang. The ship was detained on December 5 by North Korean frontier guards, when it ran into storm and entered North Korean waters to sit out a storm in the Sea of Japan. The ship-owner company representative reported, the captain of the "Terney" had received the permission to enter the waters, which the record in the ship-journal approves. Following the ship-owner instructions the captain refused to let in the frontier guards on board for inspection. However, on December 9, according to the new instructions, the ship moved to the port Kimchak, where investigation of the case with Russian diplomats participation took place. North Korean authorities laid no claim both on the "Terney" captain and the ship-owner.
