Illarionov: start of external debt advanced repayment - decision of the year
Russian federation President?s counselor on economics Andrey Illarionov called the start of Russia external debt advanced repayment to be decision of 2005.
"The start of Russia external debt advanced repayment surely refers to this nomination", said Illarionov at the press-conference, dedicated to economical results of the expiring year.
He reminded, that Russia completely repaid its debt to International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the biggest part of the debt to Paris Club.
"The state external debt of Russia as of Octobr 1 decreased to $86 milliard", said Illarionov.
According to him, in the course of last 6 years (since 1999) considerable external debt decrease relative to gross domestic product, from 90 % of gross domestic product in 1999 to 12% of gross domestic product on this year results.
