Delegates suggest rescue of capital from traffic jams by European standards.
Interfactional union of State Duma delegates "Our Capital" suggests to solve problems of city jams by new strategy. In particular, such measure as chargeable entry to capital is discussed. For example, payment of 7.5 euros is introduced in London for presence in central part of the town from 7:00 to 18:30. It is necessary to pay the bill by 22:00; otherwise, driver is fined on 800 euros.
Delegates Lebedev, Samoshin and Glotov have ordered the development of the project to the European group of experts from TransCare company, which has a successful experience of analogous conceptions in European megapolises.
Delegates are sure that drivers will understand and accept possible innovations. "Drivers should understand that the measure is introduced for their welfare. If we ignore the problem now, transport collapse will occur in several years, and Moscow will just stand", - noted delegate Samoshin.
