Passengers of broken funicular evacuated in Moscow
Rescuers evacuated 13 passengers of rope funicular, which broke down on Saturday at Vorob`evy Gory in Moscow.
By information of head administration of Russian Emergency Ministry over Moscow, none of passengers addressed for medical treatment. By tentative data, 24 people got stuck on broken funicular, but the majority of people managed to get out of cabs by own efforts.
Malfunction of mountain-skiing lift at Vorob`evy Gory in Moscow took place at about 17:30 of Saturday. Rescuers of Emergency Ministry evacuated passengers of funiculars by means of climbing equipment.
Representatives of local authorities determine the causes of malfunction and terms of its elimination. Office of Public Prosecutor of West Moscow administrative district investigates the circumstances of the crash.
