Russian tourists cannot leave Philippines
Over a hundred Russian tourists from Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo cannot return home from Philippines resourts. Tomsk region administration official said, that a tourist company "Serp and K" from Novosibirsk had declared its bankruptcy, having paid to Philippinу partners one third of agreed sum.
According his words, the tourists appealed for help to Novosibirsk administration, which established a headquarter, trying to solve the problem of the tourists return to Russia.
According to information from one of Tomsk tourist companies, appeared problems have been caused by sudden death of the company "Serp and K" director Zoya Krashko. The tourist company didn?t have time to clear the accounts with the host side, and is trying to settle down the problem and pay the debt, which may take few days.
The tourist company "Serp and K" has also distributed the document, where it appeals to tourist agencies and asks them to "contact the tourists and explain them the facts, and try to settle down the problem of payment for their tourists residence in Philippines".
Total amount of dept constitutes $87,3 thousand, said the head of Novosibirsk association of tourist organizations Vladimir Kourov. The number of tourists, got stuck in Philippines, constitutes 167 people. Their return was scheduled on January 20.
