Universities will refuse masters and graduate schools
In Russia will increase the number of institutions without master and postgraduate programs. As announced at the Congress of Russian rectors Union Minister of education and science of Russia Dmitry Livanov, it is a common practice.
"We will have universities, which will not be of master and postgraduate studies. There will be many. There is nothing bad. For such institutions will be worked out a new niche, a new understanding", - quotes the Minister ITAR-TASS.
Livanov stressed that the bachelor should be disseminated in the regions, where local firms need to young professionals. "Working at the bachelor's level is not less valuable, and from time to time and more important. Management institutions need for the future to be quiet, not to fight for one or two places," said Livanov. The head of the Ministry of education recommended the rectors ' not to write to the Ministry and the bodies working power in the field of education in the regions crazy messages, it is in vain".
The Minister expressed the government's intention to support the graduates of technical institutions, which upon completion of the University will be working on engineering professions. "We need to direct our gaze on the preparation of professionals with the latest facilities. We launch a program of special training when on the main fronts will be doubled the number of budget places when they are trained professionals for a specific company. I.e. the company will conclude a contract with the student, to pay him a scholarship, but later he will have to work at this enterprise", - said Livanov. According to him, innovations in education will affect the military-industrial complex, because in this field there is a "Grand configuration".
