" Batkivshchyna " requires to submit for ratification the agreement on Association
The parliamentary faction of " Batkivshchyna " addressed to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the requirement immediately to submit for ratification in the Verkhovna Rada of the Association agreement with the EU, said the leader of the faction Serhiy Sobolev on Wednesday.
Ukraine finally signed an Association agreement with the EU, which includes the development of a free trade zone, on June 27. " Trentalance " in July, the EC acknowledged that the implementation of the agreement can bear the economic risks for the relations of Russia and Ukraine. In the administration Poroshenko hope that the Association agreement with the EU will be ratified until September.
During his speech in Parliament on Wednesday deputies of the " Batkivshchyna " party took to the podium and unfurled flags of Ukraine and the EU. They were holding a poster with an appeal to the President without delay to submit the document for consideration to the Parliament.
" The European choice Is that which was signed by the country's leadership and must be implemented today. For this reason, the " Batkivshchyna " faction demands to immediately submit for ratification to the Parliament the agreement on Association with the EU, " Sobolev said, speaking in the Parliament.
for their part, member of the faction " Batkivshchyna ", the head of the parliamentary Department for European integration Hryhoriy Nemyria said yesterday the Committee unanimously supported the draft resolution to appeal to the President of Ukraine not later than August 12, submit to the Verkhovna Rada for ratification the agreement on Association.
" This will enable us to ratify the Treaty and stop talking about as if the technical, political or any other reasons why not to ratify this document, " Nemyria said, speaking in the Parliament.
