Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs felt American pressure in Adamov?s case
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia perceived in hidden political motives and felt strong pressure from the USA in the case of ex-chief of Minatom of Russia Evgenii Adamov.
The resource from Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed about that.
"Some groups in Washington have as their aim to try to compromise Russian line in fields of non-proliferation and represent Russia as insecure in privacy protection of nuclear materials."
The source says that there was strong pressure from Americans during all phases of legal investigation of Adamov?s case. By his words American representatives tried to promote the decision of extradition of Adamov to the USA.
