Conference on Russian national banking system to be held in Kazan
Interregional conference on development of program "National banking system of Russia - 2010, 2020. Regional vector of development" will be held in Kazan on Tuesday.
This was informed by Banking association of Tatarstan, which is an organizer of the conference along with Natiobal bank of Tatarstan republic and Association of Russian banks. Presidents of banks from Chuvashia, Mordovia, Mari El, Udmurtia, Kirov oblast will take part in proceedings of the conference.
The goal of the conference is a maximum responsiveness of a regional aspect in developing program "National banking system of Russia - 2010, 2020".
President of Russian Bank Association Garegin Tosunyan will tell about the concept of the program. President of National Bank of Tatarstan Republic Evgeny Bogachev, deputy chief of State Duma committee on credit organization and financial markets Anatoly Asakov, representative of Russian Bank and presidents of Volga regional banks will make presentation.
It is not a coincidence that Tatarstan has been chosen the venue of conference - the banking system of the republic is one of largest and most stable among regional banking systems. At present moment Bank Association of Tatarstan consists of 27 banks, moreover, 47 Russian bank branches operate of territory of the republic. By results of 9 months of 2005 registered authorized capital stock of Tatarstan banks amounted to 17.4 milliards rubles, total bank actives - to more that 177 milliards rubles.
