Russian ship start actions as a part of NATO special operation
Ships of Russian Black Sea Fleet "Azov" and "Moscow", arrived to Italian port Messina, start actions as a part of NATO antiterrorist operation "Active effort".
This information has been given by Vice-Premier, the Russian Federation Minister of Defense Sergei Ivanov, who was on board of missile cruiser "Moscow"
"Beginning from today, Russia is the only country, which is not a NATO member, starts its dynamic actions as a part of operation "Active efforts" , said Ivanov.
According to him, the crews of arrived to Italy ships of the Black Sea Fleet, as well as ships, are ready to fulfill tasks on the whole area of the Mediterranean sea
