Chapel to be constructed in memory of "Transvaal Park" victims
Ceremony of memorial cathedral-chapel consecration with the capsule containing memorial text will be held on Tuesday at the place of tragedy in "Transvaal Park".
The Moscow Mayor press-service has reported the All-Saints cathedral-chapel will be laid in 16 Golubinskaya street on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Moscow time.
Consecration will be accomplished by archbishop of Istra Arseny, the vicar of the patriarchy of Moscow and all Russia Alexy II/
On February 14, 2004 as a result of the dome covering of Aqua park building in Yasenevo destruction, concrete bridgings fell down on hundreds of people. As a result of the tragedy, 28 people were killed, including 8 children, 193 people were hurt, including 51 children.
Chief designer Nodar Kanchelia and the head of Moscow State Expertise Agency Anatoly Voronin are charged on the case.
