Putin and de Villepin admitted Iranian right for nuclear tests under MAGATE supervision
Russia and France appealed to Iran to fulfill demands of International Atomic Energy Agency and to stop uranium enrichment and processing. Appropriate announcement was made by Russian president Vladimir Putin and French premier-minister Dominique de Villepin after meeting in Kremlin.
Politicians admit "legal rights of Iranian nation to develop secure stable atomic energy program in conditions of guaranteed peace purposes". Putin and de Villepin noted that world community supports Russian suggestion of mutual enterprise formation for uranium enrichment on Russian territory.
Moscow negotiations with Iran were planned on February 16 but official representative of Iranian government Golam Hussein Elham informed about postponement of the visit. The cause of delay is Iranian position in nuclear issue - Iran insists on its right to enrich uranium on own territory.
