Russian female hockey player hospitalized after match with Italy
Russian hockey player Olga Permyakova was hospitalized after collision with the rival during Russia-Italy game at Olympiad in Torino.
The sportswoman was lying on ice for several minutes and was littered afterwards. By words of head coach of Russian ladies` hockey team Aleksey Kalintsev, the trauma is not serious and Permyakova may participate in next game. "There is an encouraging information from hospital, - said Kalintsev. - Olga will recover and perhaps will play the next game".
As a reminder Russian hockey team has defeated Italians with score 5:1 and takes third position in group A. At present moment Russian team can struggle for 5-th place. The group is headed by Canadian hockey-players, who defeated Swedes with smashing score of 8:1. It should be mentioned that the missed goal was the first for Canadian team during this Olympic Championship.
