Another Russian skiers suspended from competition
The tests showed that two Russian skiers Nikolai Pankratov and Natalia Matveyeva had an abnormally high red blood cell count, informed the Russian ski team manager Yury Charkovsky. Thus Pankratov can not participate in 15km classical today, for which he had been declared.
On the first day of competition, Matveyeva and Pankratov were suspended for five days on the same reason.
A new tests were done yesterday, and showed haemoglobin levels exceeding norm.
