"Salt fever" declines
The "salt fever" struck a number of Russian regions in the recent days decreased. The chairman of the administration of the International confederation of the societies of consumers Dmitriy Yanin reported about this.
He explained that "there are no real economic prerequisites for the salt shortage; its reserves are very great both in Russia and in the countries of the CIS". As practice shows, the decrease of the rush moves from the west to the east of Russia in proportion to the advance of deliveries from the Ukraine into the depth of the country.
According to Yanin, "small stoppages in the deliveries from the Ukraine, which traditionally supplies the central region of Russia with salt" could give the occasion for the appearance of hysteria.
