Eugeni Dementiev: no need to grieve
Russian skiing team took 6-th place in men`s 4x10 km relay race. Eugeni Dementiev, who ran the last stage, said after finish that there is no ground to grieve.
"Of course, we hoped for better and result leaves much to be desired. But there is no need to grieve because sprint and 50-km races are ahead. We still have time to win", - thinks Dementiev.
"The race was so important that it was hard to prepare psychologically. I was very nervous before start", - he added.
Dementiev also said that coaches set the goal "to catch up with leaders". "I should be a cut above leaders to regain 1-minute lag. It was hard to compete at such weather: the snow was dry and skis were sliding poorly", - said the sportsman.
