Russian team not reached final of Olympic hockey tournament
The Russian team coudn`t reach the final of the Olympic hockey tournament.
In the semi-final Vladimir Krikunov`s wards yielded Finland team with the score 0:4 (0:1, 0:2, 0:1). Ville Peltonen (7th minute), Tony Lydman (the 30th), Saku Koivu (34-4) and Olli Jokinen (the 50th) scored. Moreover Peltonen and Koivu differed, when Finns played in the majority.
Let us recall, that the command of Finland didn`t come off second-best in Torino (five victories during the first stage two into the play off). On 26 February Finns will play in the finale with the Sweden team.
Russians now must play for the bronze medals. On Saturday the team of Czechia will be their rival. Match will begin at 22.30
