Patriarch Aleksey II meets with HAMAS delegation
Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Aleksey II is convinced that there is no alternative to dialogue in Middle East. The announcement was made during Sunday meeting with HAMAS delegation headed by chairman of political bureau Haled Mashaal.
"We are convinced that there is no alternative to dialogue. A peaceful dialogue should be continued paying no attention to actions of separate politicians", - said Patriarch.
"We always supported UNO decision that both states (Israel and Palestine) should have a possibility to exist in Middle East", - emphasized Aleksey II.
By his words, Russian Orthodox Church always advocated for "Palestinian right to create own government".
