Iskhakov: situation with Amur ecology stabilizes
Ecologic situation in Amur river has stabilized. This surprising announcement was made by presidential plenipotentiary in Far East Kamil Iskhakov.
"By reports of all services, the situation has stabilized and there are no prerequisites for new catastrophes and harmful influence on human health during spring drifting of ice and afterwards", - said the plenipotentiary. At the same moment Iskhakov is indignant at the behaviour of Habarovsk officials, who constantly speak about Amur contamination in local mass media.
"I don`t understand the necessity of heating up the passions around contamination of Amur river. The problem should be solved on ministry level. Administrative proceedings should be instituted against careless leaders, people should be forced to work. But there is no sense to shout about supposedly threat to population health in sources of mass media. I consider such behaviour is unacceptable", - noted Iskhakov.
Iskhakov is also displeased with calm response of Chinese authorities: "I am concerned of calm reaction of Chinese side. They don`t take appropriate measures for prevention of similar situations in future".
