Kadyrov: over 7000 rebels returned to peaceful life


Over 7000 rebels voluntarily laid down arms and returned to peaceful life during last several years.

This was announced by chairman of Chechen parliament Ramzan Kadyrov.

"Since beginning of second Chechen war over 7000 rebels laid down arms", - said Kadyrov. By his words, "they are all amnestied according to laws of Russian Federation". "The main part of ex-rebels work in departments struggling with crime, brigandage and terrorism on territory of Chechen Republic at present moment", - said Kadyrov.

He noted that "return of rebels to peaceful life was the main goal of dead president Akhmat Kadyrov". "He started this work, which lay in daily meetings, explanatory conversations with relatives of young men, who by some reasons joined armed gangs", - said Kadyrov.

New chairman of government emphasized that "he will continue activity aimed at unification of people". "This work hasn`t stop for a day. Certain group of people hold conversations with relatives till present moment", - said Kadyrov. He emphasized that results of this educational work are of great importance". "It is a true value if a guy returns to peaceful life. This is one more rescued life", - said Kadyrov.
