Russian team robotics formed
<em>26 teams from 9 regions will represent Russia at the world Olympiad robotics (World Robot Olympiad/ WRO Russia - 2014), which will be held in Sochi from 21 to 23 November in the framework of the international forum of innovations in the field of robotics, "the Days of robotics, in Sochi."</em>
World Olympiad robotics or WRO Russia 2014 is an international competition for the Assembly and programming of robots among children aged 7 to 18 years, which has been held since 2004.
Status mistress WRO Russia-2014 Russia won in 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, winning the competition applications from the countries of the world leaders in the field of educational robotics and high technology. Russia at the world robot arena will present students of Chelyabinsk oblast, Republic of Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk oblast, Republic of Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk oblast, Tomsk oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Moscow and St. Petersburg. These leading regions in the field of educational robotics, real forge of frames for the whole country, and that their experience formed the basis for the development of educational robotics in Russia at the Federal level. Thanks to the coaches and their pupils the world the robotics Olympiad in Russia became possible.
More than 46 countries will participate in the WRO Russia 2014, 1500 young robotics will meet at the same venue for events. All of them were serious selection on the national stage, so in Sochi will meet future world robotic elite.
Part of the Russian national team became the winners of the WRO 2012 in Kuala Lumpur in category "Soccer robots" - Karen Manukyan and Andrew Gladyshev. At that time the boys were still in school, now they are students of the leading engineering universities of the country. And largely due to the participation in competitions in robotics they made their professional choice.
The participants of the team shared their expectations from the final WRO Russia 2014.

"We will try to give all your best and win the team championship. Frankly, I think that in the final of the Olympics from the Asian teams can only wait, they are our main competitors. Job this year is cool, will be interesting to see the choices of others and others ' results.
<b>Andrew Gladyshev, 2 year Moscow aviation Institute, Department of aviation technology:</b>
"My personal agenda for the finals to be not worse than in previous years. And expectations from the Olympics in General - to meet people from other countries and to collect such vivid memories, so I'm happy about all this told".
