Frieze: Rada may consider the law on the abolition of non-aligned status
The Parliament of Ukraine may consider the draft law on the abolition of non-aligned status of the country this week, according to a member of the Department Rada national security Irene Frieze (Block Petro Poroshenko).
on Wednesday, the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he would submit to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on refusal from the neutral status of the country immediately after returning to Kiev. Poroshenko 17-18 December is on a state visit to Poland.

In 2010 the law on the fundamentals of domestic and foreign policy of Ukraine stipulates the non-aligned status of the country. The government has in the last month of summer submitted to the Parliament the law on the abolition of non-aligned status and renewal rate in NATO.
