Amnesty International: Kiev should help the starving residents of Donbas
Residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are residents of Ukraine, and the authorities are obliged to fulfill their obligations to them, said the Director of the Ukrainian branch of the international human rights organization Amnesty International Tatyana Mazur in the program on the First national TV channel.

" A little bit better situation in Lugansk and Donetsk - big cities, everything bad in small towns. There are truly citizens are starving, they depend on the field kitchens, but it is unclear how much is enough for these field kitchens. People selling absolutely everything that can be sold, " said human rights activist.
" From the perspective of law, these citizens are citizens of Ukraine and the Ukrainian government has certain obligations in relation to these people, " said Mazur.
in her expressions, the international community is ready to help in this situation, however, the initiative must come from Kiev.
