MOSCOW, 21 Dec - R-Sport. Pole Jan-Krzysztof Duda became European champion in rapid chess.
on Sunday at Wroclaw Duda scored 9, 5 points out of eleven possible. Gained as much Ukrainian Andrei Volokitin, Pole Grzegorz Gajewski and Belarus Vladislav Kovalev, but Duda became the winner on additional indicators.
Second place was taken by Volokitin, the third was Gajewski. The best result among Russian citizens demonstrated Igor Lysyj - 9 points and eighth place.
