Queen of Great Britain to award Yushenko
Ukrainian president Victor Yushenko will get British award from Queen Elisibeth II for contribution to international relationships.
Award Chatham House Prize was instituted by Chatham-house (Royal institute of international relationships) and will be handed for the first time this year. From list of candidates the majority voted for Ukrainian president.
"Achievement of president Yushenko as political leader is victory in political revolution and interaction with neighbor countries which intended to influence political and economic life of Ukraine".
Ceremony will take place in lord-mayor of London city residence on Monday evening. Award will be given by Queen Elizabeth II in the presence of her husband - Philip duke of Edinburgh. Program of evening also includes visit of high-honored guests and speech of premier-minister`s wife Sherry Blair.
On Monday afternoon Yushenko will make a speech "Ukraine: orange revolution and its place in Europe" in Chatham-house.
