Russian trawler escaped Norwegian nets and moves to Murmansk
Plane of Norwegian coastguards tried to stop Russian trawler "Electron" by throwing net.
But net twisted on the propeller of other Russian ship - fish refrigerator trawler "Gregory Ardashev" which accompanied "Electron".
"As a result Russian trawler "Ardashev" stopped". Incident occurred 80 miles away from shore. "Considering that there is a 9-point storm in this region, was made a decision to send rescue ship "Purga" to the place of incident", - said the head of captain service in Murmansk port.
Storm continues in Barents Sea, the rate of northern wind reaches 20 m/s, the height of waves is 4-6 meters.
Meanwhile "Electron" continues its way to Russian aqua territory; it is chased by 2 ships and Norwegian coastguards` plane. The ship was detained by Norwegian coastguards on Saturday for fish rules violation. 2 inspectors demanded captain to sail in Tromse port for following investigation. But captain refused to fulfill this demand and headed towards Russian aqua territory.
By information of border administration, "Electron" will reach Russia by 01:00 by Moscow time of October 19; then it will take several hours to convey ship to Murmansk port.
