AGABEKOV Alexander

1936, Leningrad. He studied at the Art School at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named I.E. Repin (1951-54), at the architectural department of the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute (1954-60). Metaphoric imagery works by the artist meets its original plastic method, based on the imposition and translucence sonorous color planes. Lives and works in St. Petersburg. Member of Artists Union of Russia. Exhibitions 1960. He was awarded several honorary diplomas and medals of Russian and international exhibitions. Products are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow; SRM, St. Petersburg, and other domestic and foreign collections.
