LEE Jet (Jet Li)

When Li Lian - the so-called Jet Li - was seven years old, the teacher took the whole class in the Beijing Academy of u-shu. Returning, the boy was kindled a desire to immediately start training. His skills progressed rapidly, and eleven years has already won five gold medals in the championships at-shu.
In 1981 he was invited to the shooting of the movie 'Shaolin Temple' - shooting took place in the provinces of U Nan, and as 'scenery' was used the real temple. After the film's release Li Lian, who took the stage name Jet Li, has become a legend in China. He played in the extensions - 'Kids from Shaolin' and 'Shaolin Martial Arts'.
