Edmund Lipinski - one of the pioneers of professional boxing in the USSR and Russia, leading representatives of which have become world-renowned masters. In 1989 he organized and headed the All-Union Association of Boxers (PSA) and sports-industrial club "Ring of Russia", and a year later founded the magazine "The Ring". As president of the Eastern European bureau since 1990 is a member of the Executive Committee of the World Boxing Council, which brings professional boxing associations of 159 countries. Since 1993, the Boxer is president of the Bureau of the CIS and Slavic countries, and since 1996 - Vice-President of the World Boxing Council.
Born January 6, 1936 in Dnepropetrovsk. Father - Czeslaw Lipinski Geranimovich (1900-1976). Mother - Lipinski Lina Ilinichna (1914g.rozhd.). Sister - Osadchaya Violetta Cheslavovna (1942g.rozhd.). Brother - Lipinski Oleg Cheslavovich (1950g.rozhd.). Wife - Lipinski Alevtina Alekseevna (1940g.rozhd.). Son - Lipinski Felix (1967g.rozhd.). Grandson - Lipinski Artem Yusupov (1995g.rozhd.). Granddaughter - Lipinski Xenia Feliksovna (2000g.rozhd.).
He graduated from the State Central Order of Lenin Institute of Physical Culture (1953-1958). In 1958-1959 worked as a teacher of physical education at the Mining Institute named after Artem in Dnepropetrovsk, then - a lecturer in Chemical and Mechanical College of the City Schelkovo Moscow region (1959-1960). In 1960-1962 - Chairman Schelkovo City Council of the Union of sports associations and organizations. Since 1963 - boxing coach and director of the Central high school sports skills, Moscow Region. Among his pupils - the champion of the USSR Avdeev and finalist of the USSR championship Yu Bystrov, as well as winners of youth and junior championships of the USSR.
From 1974 to 1976 Charles E. Lipinski worked in the Democratic People's Republic of Yemen as a trainer-consultant. In 1968-1974 years he was executive secretary of Boxing Federation of the USSR. He actively participated in the preparation and conduct of the Games XXII Olympiad in 1980. From 1976 to 1980 he worked as Deputy Chief of the sports programs of the Organizing Committee, Olympic Games-80 ". In the years 1981-1989 he was Head of the Central Council of "Dinamo". In 1985-1989, he was Vice President of Boxing Federation of the USSR and at the same time, from 1982 to 1989, headed the Boxing Federation of the RSFSR. From 1996 to present - Deputy General Director of the Moscow City physical training and sports associations (MGFSO).
