Biography Shchepin Konstantin
(1728-1770 gg.) - An outstanding Russian physician, surgeon, anatomist, botanist and lekarstvoved. In 1758, Mr.. at Leiden University thesis on plant acid "De acido vegetabili" (Lugd.Batav, 1758), then in England and France he studied obstetrics and surgery. In 1759, Mr.. in Russia confirmed doctorate. In 1762, Mr.. became the first Russian professor at the Moscow hospital school land hospital. He taught anatomy, surgery, clinical medicine, as well as the beginning of Pharmacy. The first in Russia, with lectures on anatomy began to use the microscopic preparations. In 1764, Mr.. the first time in Russia began to read the St. Petersburg hospital school lectures on anatomy and surgery in Russian. Tragically died in Kiev in the elimination of the plague.
