Biography Vogt Alexander Bogdanovich
(1848-1930 gg.) - Outstanding pathophysiology. He graduated from the Medical Faculty of Moscow University, from 1871. worked at the Department of Pathological Anatomy University. In 1873, Mr.. defended his doctoral thesis "On the doctrine of membranous dysmenorrhea". Since 1878. - Associate Professor, and since 1880. - Professor of General Pathology. In 1891, Mr.. organized by Institute of General and Experimental Pathology, from 1909. - Professor of General Pathology Higher Women's Courses in Moscow. In 2-nd Gradskaya hospital created the Institute of Experimental Pathology. He is one of the founders of modern pathological physiology as the basic discipline of Experimental Medicine. They were carried out research in the field of pathology of the heart, on the swelling and edema, inflammation of the pericardium, the functional and anatomic changes of the heart. Headed the scientific school, which belonged to Mr.. P. Sakharov, EF. A. Andreev, T. I. Rossolimo, D. M. Russia. Major works: "Studies on inflammation of the pericardium" (1899), "On the functional and anatomical disturbances of the heart at the closing of the coronary arteries" (1901), "Pathology of the heart" (3rd edition - 1920).
