Richard H. Matzke

Richard Maciej is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chevron Corporation. As one of two vice Matzke responsible for the activities of corporations in the field of exploration and production worldwide. He was appointed to the post on Jan. 1, 2000.
On March 1, 1997, Mr. Matzke is a member of the Board of Directors of Chevron. In February 2000, Mr. Matzke was elected a member of the Board of Directors of the company Dynegy 1ps, which is a subsidiary of Chevron, and which conducts its activities in the field of marketing as energy and natural gas, and energy production.
Mr. Matzke was a native of Illinois, graduated from the University of Iowa, where he received a bachelor's degree in geology in 1959, the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a master's degree in geology in 1961, and the College of St.. Mary in California, where he received a master's degree in business administration in 1977. He went to work for Chevron in 1961 as a geologist in Louisiana, and be promoted, working in mining, the economy, research and planning. Mr. Matzke is the Chairman of the Board of Directors Business Association of the United States and Kazakhstan, a member of the Business Council of the United States and Russia and the Business Council for International Cooperation. He also is Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce USA-Azeyrbadzhan and consists of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of the Americas and Africa and the Advisory Council for Strategic and International Affairs (CSIS). Mr. Matzke I was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the American Institute of Professional Geologists, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, Northern California Council of World Affairs and the Commonwealth Club of California.
