Biography Yerkes, Robert
(1876-1956) - American psychologist. One of the founders zoopsychology. In experiments on primates has established a number of laws governing their behavior, in particular relating to the relationship between motivation and ability perception of external objects. There is no evidence that a strong motivation to prevent the skill of distinguishing complex stimuli, but is favorable for the differentiation of simple, commonly called the law Jerko-sa - Dodson.
