With honors and a gold medal graduated from the Naval Medical Academy in 1947. By specialty - general practitioner. He served in the Armed Forces (1939 - 1989 gg.). Participated in the Great Patriotic War. He worked as head of the department of therapy for advanced training of doctors (1967), . chief therapist (1972) in the Military Medical Academy, head of the Central Military Medical Directorate of the Ministry of Defense (1977), head of the Department of Hospital Therapy of I-st Moscow Medical Institute, . Sechenov (1972 - 1982 gg.) Vice-president of Russia Academy of Medical Sciences (1990 - 1995 gg.), Chairman of the All-Union Scientific Society of Physicians (1974 - 1987 gg.). Doctor of Medicine (1963), Professor (1964), Colonel-General of Medical Service (1977). Published several scientific papers, including: 'The daily rhythm of physiological functions in healthy and sick person' (1966), 'The initial stage of heart failure' (1978), 'Complex radiation diagnosis' (1993). Editor and co-author of several textbooks and manuals. During the years of activity produced 85 doctors and candidates of medical sciences. Member of the Russia Academy of Medical Sciences, Member of the International Academy of Sciences, Member of the Academy of Creativity. Hero of Socialist Labor (1980), State Prize winner (1980), winner of awards named. M. P. Konchalovsky (1979), C. P. Botkin (1985), H. I.
