Autobiographical notes

... Today I draw the shore, who saw in childhood, a ray of sunlight on the open porch, a doorway, which is seen a table covered with white cloth, wooden staircase handrail. Pictures (now on the canvas) longer stand on the easel, demanding more and more new colors, making gazing into the past.
I am happy that in the process of working people who have not, again find themselves side by side, living with me. I do not seem terribly "looking back" by the artist, depicting what was once. Unchanged sultry smell of the steppe, shine native of Volga, warm family home, but we change, and the old themes of today are filled with emotion.
