Biography Artari Aleksandr Petrovich
Born in Moscow in 1858. Doing a volunteer at Moscow University, worked under the guidance of Professor Gorozhankina. In Basel, received his Ph.D.. Since 1894 is assistant professor of Moscow University, teaching anatomy and physiology of plants in the Imperial Technical School. The first work A. relate to the flora of algae in Moscow Province (1885 - 1886). After a bit of work on Nuclearia (1889) A. published work on the water grid (1890) and a study on protokokkovyh algae (1892). In 1896 his work appeared on a new form of yeast (Saccharomyces Zopfii). Since 1897 A. moved to the physiology of the lower algae.
