Biography Beneshevich Vladimir
(b. 1874). Educated at St. Petersburg University, until autumn 1900. studied at the universities of Heidelberg, Leipzig and Berlin, professors Jellinek, soman, Friedberg, Kalya and Harnack. He studied Greek and Slavic manuscripts in the libraries of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vienna, Munich, Paris, Venice, Rome, Constantinople, Athens, core Patmos, Athos, Sinai and Cairo. In 1911, Mr.. elected to the chair of ecclesiastical law. His master's thesis: "The canonical collection XIV titles in the second quarter of the VII century up to 883 years. For the ancient history of the sources of law of the Greek-Eastern Church "(St. Petersburg, 1905). Collection, is the subject of Beneshevich, long known as Nomocanon Patriarch Photius. Beneshevich set out to establish the grounds and show how to determine the different lists Nomocanon its initial composition (VII cent.) And the later additions (VIII and IX centuries).
