Biography Bunge, Alexander
son of Alexander Andreyevich Bunge. Born in 1851. Education Bunge received in Dorpat, in 1870. entered the Faculty of Medicine, graduating in 1878. The title of Doctor of Medicine received in 1880. Still a student, published "Ueber die Nachweisbarkeit eines biserialen Archipterygium bei Selachiern und Dipnoern" ( "Jenaische Zeitscrift", t. VIII). After a visit to Austria, . Italy and Germany (1876), . Bunge, . the rank of supernumerary official medical department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (from 1882 to 1884), . took part in the expedition to the mouth of the Lena River, . running order of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society, . state physician, . naturalist and assistant chief of the expedition, . Since 1884. Bunge was the youngest ship's doctor 6 th Naval Depot and head of the expedition, equipped the Imperial Academy of Sciences in Priyansky edge and the New Siberian Islands (1885 - 1887), on his return took up the processing of collected materials. In 1903 - 1904 years Bunge took part in Russian-Japanese war as a Surgeon. Currently (1912) consists of the Baltic Fleet Surgeon.
