Biography Burachki Plato Osipovich
(1815 - 1894), studied at Kharkov University. He collected antiquities, coins and T. n.; excavated in Tauride province and in different places Novorossiya. Extensive collection of coins assigned to them by the Moscow Historical Museum, the rest of antiquity presented to the Odessa Society of History and Antiquities, and an extensive library (over 4000 volumes) on the history and archeology donated to the Odessa Public Library. Burachki published his research in "Proceedings of the Russian Geographical Society" (1875), "Journal of the Ministry of National Education" (1876 - 77), "Proceedings of" IV and VI of the archaeological congresses, "Memoirs of the Odessa Society of antiquity and history" (Tm. IX, X and XII) and the Kiev Antiquities "(1886). Separately issued "General Catalog of coins belonging to the Hellenic colonies that existed in ancient times on the northern shore of the Black Sea (Odessa, 1894).
