(1826 - 1888). He graduated from the course at the Alexander Lyceum, served in the commission of petitions and the Ministry of Education, had to leave the service because of relations with Herzen. Later, a barrister and a few years a board member of barristers district court in St. Petersburg Chamber. Lover of books, Gajewski collected an excellent library of Russian literature of XVIII - XIX centuries. From 1849 to 1859, Mr.. Gajewski received continuous involvement in the critical section of the Journal of the Ministry of Public Education "; worked in the St. Petersburg Vedomosti 1860. He owns article on the writings E.I. Kostrova (Contemporary, 1850), about Sumarokova (Journal of the Ministry of Education, 1854).
