Biography DOBRIANSKY Adolf
(1813 - 1901) Zealous Russophile. He is considered pioneer Ugric-Russian revival. His sympathy for Russia Dobriansky made no secret of what had to flee in Galicia, where he returned in 1849. Hungary, together with the Russian troops arrived to quell the uprising Magyars. Dobriansky was headed by Russian deputation who said the Austrian Government wishes of his people: autonomy Ugric Russia, equal treatment with the Magyars, the establishment of Russian schools, the University of Lviv and other. In 1864, Mr.. was based in Univare "Society of St. Basil the Great, set out to publish books for churches and schools. At the head of the society became Dobriansky, who owned the newspaper company executives - "Light" (1867 - 70). Hab since 1882, Mr.. in Innsbruck, not daring to return to Galicia, which was subjected to police harassment. Collaborated in the "Galician", the newspaper always unconditionally defending absolutism in application to Russia, but national autonomy - as applied to Austria.
