Biography Evnevich Hippolyte Antonovich
(1831 - 1903). He graduated from the course of St. Petersburg University of physical-mathematical faculty. Since 1862. began reading in a modified Institute of Technology course of construction machines, and in 1868, upon receipt of a master's degree, approved by a professor of Applied Mechanics. I read the same thing in Mykolaiv Marine Academy, the Institute of Civil Engineers and in the electrotechnical institute. Major works Yevnevich: "Guide to the study of the laws of resistance of building materials, with the accession of the general principles of elasticity theory of solids" (St. Petersburg, 1868), "Fundamentals of hydrostatics (St. Petersburg, 1871). In "Engineering Journal" for 1890. Evnevich posted article: "The equation Bussineka and its application to certain special cases of motion of liquid drops", "A few words about the laws of motion of the groundwater," "On the expiry of a liquid with variable horizon". In the last article, the author for the equations of motion using the beginning of the conservation of energy and comes to conclusions substantially different from what usually takes practice in dealing with the expiration of at variable horizon.
